The coast and islands around Split are unbeatable. A Split villa allows you to see a wide variety of fantastic scenery, beautiful islands, and historic architecture. Split itself has a fascinating centre as well as an attractive “Riva” by the sea where you can relax in bars or enjoy several excellent restaurants. However Split is really the jumping off point. You can go North to the UNESCO heritage town of Trogir with its gorgeous medieval centre, and further up the coast towards the idyllic seaside town of Primosten, and further to Krka National Park with its wonderful walks and fabulous waterfalls. If you travel south you come to the seaside resorts of Omis, Makarska and Brela all set against the spectacular backdrop of the Biokovo mountains. You must however consider going to any of the islands in the Split archipelago such as Brac or Hvar.
