Korcula Villa

Korcula Villa
CLICK HERE FOR MORE VILLAS IN KORCULA

In order to get to your Korcula villa you need to drive about 2 hours to the ferry port of Orebic on the Peljesac peninsula. The drive is quite spectacular and goes through some of the best wine growing areas of the southern Adriatic. You will pass by the picturesque villages of Ston and Mali Ston and indeed this is a perfect place to stop for lunch. You will then pass by lovely small stone villages such as Podobuce and Trstenik that have beautiful pebble beaches. When you arrive at Orebic, the car ferry runs regularly between there and Korcula and takes only about 15 minutes. Once you have arrived on the island the drive to your Korcula villa is between 5 and 45 minutes further on depending on its location.

There are several Korcula villas that are near to Korcula Town where the ferry runs to and from. For example in the delightful seaside village of Zrnovska Banja which has a good pebble beach, you can have a relaxing stay and still be just 5 minutes drive from Korcula Town which has a great food and vegetable market, lots of restaurants and bars, and loads of fascinating old buildings to explore. The best beach to go to from your Korcula villa in this part of the Island, is at Lumbarda, which has both a pebble beach and a sandy beach. You could also enjoy lunch here at one of the restaurants overlooking the sea, such as More, Lina or Zure.

Croatian Affair also have Korcula villas at the far northern end of the Island, near to Vela Luka. Here you will find perfect peace and quiet - fantastic locations just a few metres from the inviting azure sea and only the company of a few colourful fishing boats bobbing around on the water. If you want to go out in the evening, near to your Korcula villa is the town of Vela Luka. This is a compact little centre with a number of restaurants where you can sit outside just a few metres from the water; occasionally a small band of musicians may come along to give you some entertainment!

Most of our Korcula villas have idyllic positions right by the sea; you just need to walk a few metres to go swimming; one or two villas have their own swimming pool – in which case you need to walk even less to go for a swim
