This spacious property is in a marvellous elevated position overlooking the sea with views across to the Island of Brac, only 20 minutes from Split. The villa is in the old village of Sumpetar which has just a few stone buildings, an ancient church and some little stone paved streets. The nearest pebble beach is only 10 minutes drive away down in the newer part of Sumpetar where there is a summer bar and an excellent restaurant ''Poseidon'' with outdoor dining tables. Another beautiful pebble beach is a further 5 minutes drive in Duce which also has a good restaurant ''Bracera'' with open tables overlooking the sea.
Brela is 30 minutes away with a lovely beach as well as bars and restaurants, and Makarska, a little further on, has plenty of nightlife. Rafting, canoeing, and trekking can be enjoyed nearby on the River Cetina.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION

This large villa lies on 1000m2 of ground at the very end of the village of Sumpetar; parking is about 50m away. A 8m x 4.5m swimming pool with roman steps is in front of the house with a splendid sea view, sunbeds and an outside shower. Also by the pool in the shade of trees is a big terrace with a table and chairs to seat 12. Outdoor steps lead to the first floor; via a terrace with table and chairs you enter the living/dining area with armchair, sofa, satellite TV and air-conditioning, plus dining table, open-plan to the kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. To one side are two double bedrooms with sea view, one twin bedroom, a separate wc, and a shower room with a washing machine.
From the terrace, outside steps lead to the third floor which again has a terrace with table and chairs from which you enter the living/dining room with armchair, sofa, satellite TV, coffee table and air-conditioning, plus dining table for 6 open-plan to a small kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, and fridge. To one side are two double bedrooms one with sea view, one twin bedroom, a separate wc, and a shower room with a washing machine.

 

Special reduced prices for groups of 4 or less outside July and August; in this case the rental does not include the first floor which remains empty.
