What could be nicer than enjoying some fresh produce for a light lunch outside in the garden, and in the evening using your barbecue to grill fish or lamb accompanied by some local red or white wine.

Also you can do a day trip to the fabulous Island of Mljet and enjoy one of the best national parks which has lovely walking and biking trails as well as salt water lakes, and a picturesque harbour with a few restaurants. This is one of the great pleasures of a Croatia villa with a pool; you can relax during the day, and your only worry is which restaurant to choose for that evening and whether to try a new red or white wine, or to stick with the one you enjoyed so much the evening before.
